A100 1918 LIMITED

A100 1918 LIMITED is the first limited edition folding knife by ANV that is exclusively tied to Czech history.
It was created to commemorate October 28, 1918 – the day of the establishment of the independent Czechoslovak state. This date stands as a symbol of courage, the pursuit of independence, and the freedom for which many generations of our ancestors strived. We honor this day and its legacy even today – in the Czech Republic, our present-day homeland.

Independence and freedom are not guaranteed forever. Czechoslovakia experienced periods in the 20th century when both were lost – whether during World War II or under totalitarian rule. Even today, the world reminds us that freedom and security are not automatic, and the stability of nations can be threatened. The commemoration of October 28th is therefore also a call for responsibility – to care for and defend our core values through actions, not just words. As we at ACTA NON VERBA KNIVES say – actions, not words.

The knife is based on our proven A100 model, enhanced with striking visual elements in the colors of the Czech tricolor:

• white handle scales made of durable and lightweight GRN
• blue screws
• red spacer
• red thumb stud for opening

The blade, made from premium stainless Elmax steel, features:

• a laser-engraved Czech lion
• the date 28.10.1918, referencing the founding of the independent Czechoslovak state
• the inscription Den vzniku samostatného československého státu (The Day of the Founding of the Independent Czechoslovak State)
• unique serial numbering from 1/100 to 100/100

• lettering inspired by a historical font used in Národní listy in 1918

The reliable A-lock, highly durable black DLC-coated blade, deep carry clip, and weight of just 72 grams all remain unchanged. Everything that makes the A100 a versatile and ideal EDC knife is preserved in this edition. The A100 1918 LIMITED thus combines practical functionality with strong symbolism and historical significance. Each knife also comes with a Czech flag pin included in the package. Only 100 pieces will be produced.
